I just started having an issue with UVI workstation. it randomly mutes for a second intermittently. Its not GP4 because the other plugins are still playing fine at the same time. I havent made any hardware or software changes. Any suggestions welcome.
More info …
- latest version of UVI workstation?
- AU or VST?
- Windows or Mac?

Will reply with info soon, but given I havent changed anything… its very strange. It was working fine last night and now at rehearsal its stuffed
ok, something might have changed… no magic here.
Well the only thing i did was update the gig file… but all the other plugins work fine. I might uninstall and reinstall UVI if I can reproduce the issue at home…
Can it be the case that it is running in trial mode? (Probably not, but doubt is the best way to the truth )
Haha no… All my plugins are legit!
I assume it was running normally up until you had this issue?
If so, clearly something changed since, as @keyman noted, there is no magic.
Well, that’s a change — what did you update?
Also, any possibility that your OS got updated or your plugin got updated?
I didn’t doubt that , but sometimes plugins revert to trial mode after an update. It’s not the way it should be, but not everything is as perfect as GP
hmm… first i need to get it to stuff up at home… ill do that before i uninstall and reinstall that plugin
I added a stack of rackspaces… I added a lot of stuff to the gig file but everything works except the UVI plugin… And that was always working from the start
Any chance you mapped a widget to a parameter that is screwing things up? Or you’re sending a midi message in from somewhere?
If you just create a new plugin instance and play it directly does it still happen?
Ill set my rig back up tommorow. Here’s the thing though, it worked fine when creating everything… Then it screwed up between me powering down, putting in the car, driving 3 hours, and setting everything back up. I’m actually hoping that the issue remains so i can fault find it in the studio. Will keep you posted
