UNDO

I wonder if there’s much demand for ‘Undo’ functionality? I know I’d like it, but perhaps best if it is only active when in edit mode. I can see how an active Undo could be potentially disastrous on stage

On a different note, is there a hidden buffer in either GP or CoreAudio that is not being reported? Or perhaps in the hardware I use (Roland Jupiter 50 and AudioTechnica AT2005USB)? Because even at 64 samples it doesn’t feel particularly snappy.

I have the impression that latency is a bit better when the mic is not in the signal chain, is using two different audio devices detrimental to low latency performance?

Undo is on our list but will be a while unfortunately.

No hidden buffers (at least we didn’t hide any  so not quite sure what’s going on there. Are you using an aggregate device to combine those two physical devices? Is it possible that one of the devices can’t handle smaller buffers? At 64 sample size it should essentially feel instantaneous. Something else going on there I suspect.

no aggregate device. The USB mic is simply selected as audio input in GP, and the keyboard as audio output.

I would love an ‘undo’ feature when editing the widgets on racks - does anybody know if this has this been implemented in the latest version? I can’t seem to find it anywhere…

The latest version 2.6.2 does not have undo.

Thanks

It’s on our list for 2019 — we know how useful this would be.

So much to do…so little time
