Sustain pedal widget

What do people use as a sustain pedal widget? I’m used to using something like the attached icon (from MainStage).

A toggle switch widget. Mostly for Hammond Leslie linked to sustain switch (CC 64).

I agree with the toggle widget. But may I ask why do people use sustain pedal widgets at all? (instead of just using a Sustain Pedal connected to a MIDI device which sends CC 64 directly to the instrument)

I’m just curious How would you learn this? I might be wrong but I thought only very few instruments offer “Sustain Pedal” as a Host Automation Parameter.

I am using it when latch is not supported by the plugin itself.

I would love to see a sustain pedal widget implemented as i have a couple setup in my rig and use the second one to trigger samples etc and it would just be cool to have it displayednext to the exp pedal widget for visual reference of the rackspace set up
