Song Lyrics/Chords Editor and Image by Song Part

Hi All, my goal is to assign a different image to each part of a song and show ONLY that specific image when I select the song part.

I know how to add multiple images in the Song Lyrics/Chords Editor and I now how to use the Songpartname parameter to automatically scroll to that specific section. The problem is that the view mode shows the combination of all of the images for the song.

Is there a way to show only the specific image that is assigned to the song part using Songpartname? Or, is there a way to add images at the Song Part level instead of the song level?

I found a work-around, but it is very clumsy.

Basically, I added multiple blank lines between each Songpartname statement. While it allows me to eventually get what I want, there is a lot of trial and error in getting the correct spacing. The other issue is that if I change the window size or change the height & width parameter in the Image statement, I have to make manual adjustments to the line spacings again.

Iā€™m still hoping that there is a better way to accomplish this.

You could check out my extension, which has buttons to fit a single image to the width/height of your screen (e.g. to display only one at a time).

It will also respond to the songpartname directive and has widgets to move forward/back a page.
