Sending more than 1 midi command on rack space load (Mobile Sheets related)

I have a weird thing happening and wanted to confirm something.

The something:

  1. I have rack spaces sending a midi cc command on channel 16 to pull up a specific song in Mobile Sheets. It works. Mobile Sheets is set to receive and send on channel 16.
  2. I have a midi out block in the wiring of the racks to send a midi pc to my Yamaha MODX on ch1. It works.

When I open a rack space AND Mobile Sheets, the MODX no longer “sees” the PC commands. It just sits there on the last program.

Confirming a rack space can send more than 1 midi message on different channels at the same time upon loading?

Something in my wiring seems to be preventing the messages from hitting the MODX when I have Mobile Sheets open. MODX is set to single channel mode and ch1 only.

Not exactly sure what’s up, I’m probably missing something obvious.

Although you can send MIDI on rackspace change, better use song parts – it’s more sophisticated using Actions.
