Hello all. I am new to setlists.
I have created a song and three song parts. When I click on a song part it does not get selected. Only the first song part is active. I cannot select subsequent song parts and assign sounds to them. What am I doing wrong?
Could you make a screnshot which shows your setlist view, please?
Also, just out of curiosity, have you changed any OSC settings? Could you also provide a screenshot of the OSC options?
Hi. Here is a screenshot of my setlist view.
I can only select “intro” when I click on it. I cannot select “verse” and “chorus”.
Can they be selected with a mouse or do I have to use a midi controller?
Do you use any virtual MIDI devices?
It should be possible to select these by mouse. Do you have any scripting in place?
As OSC is not enabled, it seems that OSC is not the problem

Can you upload your gig file, so we could check?
There are no songs in?
You know how to define songs?
When you create a new song then 3 default song parts are created.
The 1st Song part references in your case the rackspace variation “Strings - Default”
Now you can select the Song part Verse and in the Rackspace Selection list you select the rackspace variation for that Song Part, for example “Piano - Default”
Now when you switch back to the Song Part “Intro” you see the “Strings - Default” as rackspace variation is selected.
So I can not see any issue.

You should be able to select the songparts by clicking on either the name under the song’s name, or by clicking the bigger song part blocks on the top of the screen.
Unfortunately i’m @work right now, so i can’t check any gig files or such.
The issue is that I can only select the 1st song part.
When I click on any of the other song parts, nothing happens.
Please create a song in your gig, save the gig and upload it.
What version of Gig Performer are you using?
Please upload a screenshot of your MIDI Port settings.
I loaded your gig and can select all Song Parts.
Just to be sure, please disable all MIDI In and MIDI Out Ports and test again.
That’s odd. I tried the gig file on my desktop as well as on my laptop and I still cannot select song parts.
Are you using version 4.5.8?
I will disable all midi ports as you suggest and try again.

Please create a new gig and just create a song and test it.
