I have a midi expression pedal that does not send continuous updates, but jumps about 10-20 CC Vals when moving the pedal fairly fast. On my plugins, there aren’t continuous increments for jumps like that, but they do get smoothed when moving 1 CC value at a time. Using GP script, how would I “smooth” the midi input to move only 1 CC at a time instead of jumping?

Have you tried to switch the polarity of the pedal plug?
I’m actually using the pedal going into a separate midi controller that parses the analog input into midi. I have the suspicion that it’s actually the controller that is chopping the midi signal too much - I’m using the paintaudio midi captain with their foot switch
