Sample not loading

In this situation would saving it as a GP preset offer a work around?

Jeff

I hope not — samples should NEVER be part of the state of a plugin - it just makes the preset (and the gigfile huge). The plugin should just have reference to the location where that sample can be found.

It’s worth double-checking what a plugin does.

Exsmple:

Hmm this is strange… May be i skipped this format while installing. Will re install and try that as well.

I see but dont know if there’s any workaround… Re-sampling wouldn’t be an option in this case as i will loose lot of articulations …

Did try to find similar settings but bad luck.

Hi David, is it possible to assign any button/widget that will open the plugin when i open/load the gig file?

Yes, map a button to the Open Plugin parameter of the plugin

I’m wondering if setting the state of any parameter with the plugin would wake it up? No way to test from here.

Perfect, just have to figure out how to do that. I will dive into user manual

Hi Steve, do you want me to try that into my setup? If you guide, i could try.

You would

  1. Create a widget in the rackspace where you have your plugin
  2. Associate the widget with any parameter for that plugin
  3. Move away from the rackspace
  4. Move back to the rackspace
  5. Try playing to see if you get sound.

If that doesn’t work as @dhj suggests, associate the widget with the “Open/Close Plugin Editor” parameter.
