Piping midi between Global and Local: Best Practice

From what I can tell so far, audio from Global to Local seems trivial but midi seems to be enacted by controlling the widgets etc
What is considered best practice for piping pure midi data from a Global Rackspace to a local without widgets etc

We haven’t added MIDI support between Global/local - it’s on our list.

But I wrote a blog article some time ago that describes a reasonable workaround using OSC

Ok that should be good enough for now. I did do a lot on remotes scripting for Live with managing relative so IF I EVER GET SOME TIME ill see if I can port it from python. lol
