Patch persist issue with "midi in" in global rackspace

Hi everyone.
I’m new to gig performers and have a question. With my band I play bass with the left side of the keyboard (the first two octaves) and I need to change the sounds only on the right side. I put a bass vst in the global rackspace and then, instead of using a midi in in each rackspace, I wanted to put just one in the global rackspace and then send it to the various rackspaces with the “to rackspace” function (so I could change the point split more easily) but I see that the “patch persist” doesn’t work in this way.
Is there a solution to this problem? Thank you !!

Why not use a MIDI in in each rackspace?
This way patch persist is working

because sometimes i need to change the split point and this way i have to change it only in the global rackspace. if i put the midi in in each rackspace it is more complicated

If you want to keep your current approach with splitting in the global rackspace, there’s this solution:
Instead of sending the MIDI data to the local rackspaces via the “to rackspaces” block, you could connect it to the “MIDI Out (Local GP Port)” in the global rackspace and use the “MIDI In (Local GP Port)” in the local rackspaces.

With this method the patch persist functionally is preserved.

I do it like this, too, although not for splitting but for merging and manipulating all required MIDI inputs globally once.

Attention: You must not use the “MIDI In (OMNI)” in this case to prevent feedback loops!

It works perfectly!! Thank you !!
