Yesterday I created a max patch to show some information about current scene and song position from Ableton Live in Gig Performer.
Works perfect.
Would it be possible to create a text label with autoscroll feature, so I could place some songtext in a text label, which scrolls automatically
synchronized to the rackspace tempo?
Interesting suggestion and I’ll add it to our tracking system as a customer request but it’s not something that I can imagine getting implemented in the near future. It seems to me that a feature like that is more appropriate to implement from your Max patch, sending OSC updates to GP with new text as time passes.
It might also be something that could be easily implemented through the scripting language which unfortunately we still aren’t ready to release due to compatibility problems on the Windows side (some .NET stuff is getting in the way, sigh).
