Hi all.
Loving in Gig Performer big style.
I’m using two controllers. An old Roland AX1 keytar, and a Yamaha MODX8.
I’ve setup a few rackspaces, but want to directly get to them without having to scroll up and down via the global midi options thingy.
The old AX1 only transmits program change (no editable CC). I’d like to hit a patch button on the AX1 and activate the corresponding rackspace that I’ve setup.
Likewise for the MODX , but I can use CC also.
Any help would be great. Thanks
Hi, welcome.
By default, GP will change rackspaces based on the Program Change messages it receives e.g. PC 0 will select the first rackspace, PC 1 the second etc.
In the Global Midi options, just check you are allowing PC to be received from all devices, or the specific ones you are sending from:
If you need to assign a specific PC number, you can double click on the first variation and assign it there:

I also had to switch on the ‘Use Zero-based PC Numbers’ option.
