I saw v8 on a couple of link texts, but they link to v7. Good timing. I’ll hold off on my purchase until v8 is released, but I’ll request the discount @npudar linked to now.

iirc, there is a quite generous grace period.

To follow up, I heard back from Modartt tech support (hadn’t realized they’re a French company) and they said I’d be automatically upgraded to v8! No clue about when it will be released, but v8 won’t cost me anything.
Think they’ll have it out for Black Friday? Here’s hoping.
