Using gig performer 5. I have rackspace with the midi player, which needs to trigger 2 times for a short rif in a song. Use a button, connected to the play function of the midiplayer and the button is mapped to a a key (C7). But, the mapping is directly to an input device (RD 88 : Note on C7).
Is there a way (maybe with rigmanger) to quickly assign any other device?
Is that other device exclusively used with your current device?

No, i will play on a keyboard of someone else. Controllers are easy with the rackspace, but triggerering a single key seems a bit more troublesome. Only solution i have found is to make a trigger key in Rig Performer. But in a few songs the keys are different so i need to create about 8 triggering keys.
