Looking for plugin recommendation

Hi - I am looking for plugin recommendation which can do the common sounds that rock/pop music would use, i.e. no exotic sounds will be needed. Just the basics like drums, bass, keyboards, etc. Hopefully there is one that fits the bill and not too expensive.
