I was looking for a VST host that would work on both Mac and PC. The first few I looked at I didn’t like, especially because most of them on the PC didn’t run the VSTs in a resolution appropriate for high-density displays — there was no display scaling, and on my laptop the VSTs were darn near unsuable.
I was very pleased to see that Gig Performer did whatever was necessary for display scaling for the VSTs it hosted, and I now have a good armchair environment for sound design with Zenology Pro on the couch.
That made it an easy purchase decision. Thanks!
