I do want to provoce the system to offer me to switch to virtual channels, as I understood from what you said that was the best alternative for keeping everything ok until I’m connected with and change back to my Focusrite.

I think you need to wire to all outputs you want to be asked for.
So when you only wire to output 1 and 2 and in the audio options you enabled 3 and 4
you will not be asked
You do not have to do that in every rackspace, 1 is sufficient.

In the audio options all six outputs are checked, but I think the Focusrite is set up to send DAW inputs 1 an 2 to the 3 and 4 of the Focusrite.

So I suppose it has nothing to say how it’s set up in the Focusrite I just have to send something to output 3 in some rackspace.

Do you have a good idea for what kind of nothing to send? :grin:

Try this:

Include the “From Global Rackspace” plugin in a rackspace and make a connection to the output channels

Well there you go, thanks for that. Some of these issues are so easy to resolve that you stop looking (or are oblivious) to what is in front of them (me).
