Installing problem GigPerformer-2.0.18.pkg

Hi,
as a GigPerformer v1 user I try to install the GigPerformer-2.0.18.pkg-demo.
But it will not install, the routine “Install GigPerformer-2.0.18.pkg überprüfen…” will remain forever.
Any help is appreciated.

My System OS X 10.11.6

Do you have any kind of anti-virus program running on your Mac? Have you checked that the permissions of your Mac are ok? There’s no reason for that installer dialog to stay up forever unless it’s trying to perhaps write to a file and can’t for some reason.

problem solved, after doing this (found this in the web):

OSX apparently needs to regenerate a fresh auth.db from /System/Library/Security/authorization.plist.
This can be triggered in terminal with the following command: sudo mv /var/db/auth.db /var/db/auth.db.old
After rebooting the system everything works as it should be.

@ David, problem solved, after doing this (found this in the web):

OSX apparently needs to regenerate a fresh auth.db from /System/Library/Security/authorization.plist. This can be triggered in terminal with the following command: sudo mv /var/db/auth.db /var/db/auth.db.old After rebooting the system everything works as it should be.
