Luckily 15.3 has been stable so far.
15.2 not so much.
In general - if you have a system that works and you use it to perform live:
Do NOT update!
If you have a 2nd or 3rd mac where you can try things out - that puts you in a much better position to decide whether to update your main system.
While you still have your good and working unmodified and trustworthy system.
