You should define MIDI In blocks for a single controller - then use the Rig Manager to define an ALIAS for those blocks.

Then, when you are at another venue with a different controller, you simply use the Rig Manager to tell GP what actual physical port should be associated with those SAME blocks and you’re good to go.

This has been a HUGE time saver when swapping out controllers. Some for home, some for studio, and others for gigging.
