GP Relayer & Studio One

comments welcome

Hi there have found a Solution

Any chance you could describe the solution rather than our just looking at a couple of images?

Well You`re right dhj - i have to explain:

In GP5 - create one Relayer each for send and receive
For testing, use e.g. SAFP as the input signal for the send Relayer and insert an audio file - see picture

In Studio One (S1) - create an audio track and name it e.g. GP Rec - set Relayer insert to send,
then create a BUS and name it e.g.GP receive - set Relayer insert to receive - see picture

Use the BUS (GP receive) as the recording source in the audio track.

Now play the audio in SAFP on the GP side and check whether there is anything in S1, there should be the same level in the BUS as in the recording track.

Attention! - When recording the signal sent from GP, make sure not to activate the pre-listening function of the recording track, otherwise there will be ugly feedback! To be on the safe side, mute the master fader in the S1 mixer!

So and now have fun trying it out

Best regards Joefi
