Global Rack Space Syncing with individual Rack Spaces

Will the new Global Rackspace read the tempos of the individual rack spaces as they change songs to keep delays in sync? I hope if you instantiate a favorite delay to be used on multiple songs they will listen to the individual racks tempo setting.

I also would like to see GP regular rack spaces follow the sync from Digital Performer, which is the front of my setup patching my keyboards through the IAC bus to GP. I often have tempo changes in my songs. I don’t want to create variations of my presets for tempo changes. That would be a nightmare to keep track of. Digital Performer doesn’t seem to be working with Ableton Link yet.

Have you tried using the Song feature in GP? You can create song parts that have different tempos, and then trigger a song part using a CC message sent from Digital Performer.

The global rackspace doesn’t have to read rackspace tempos. If a rackspace sets a tempo, that will be the global tempo and the global rackspace will just obey it.
