Gig performer with different instances

Hi everyone,
I‘m new with GP and worked before I changed to Mac with Cantabile on a Windows 11 PC.
The performance is great, also can I combine and implement all stuff of my Plugins. I‘m very excited.
The only thing is because I‘ve got to different audio interfaces, one for my band (presonus 1824C) and one at home (focusrite clarett 2pre) with different amounts of exits. I can work with different instances but there are only virtual connections for exit 3 and 4 at home. I could adjust different interfaces in Cantabile with the different exits. I have changed only the config file for the different instances, because exit 3 and 4 were designated in generell in options no matter how many exits came from the interface. Is there a possibility in GP working on the same way? …or must I change all songs and racks for home using?
Does anybody have an idea?
Thanks in advance
Bernd

Don’t use the audio interface in each Rackspace. Instead, route audio from each rackspace to the global rackspace. Then you will only need to change the audio interface in the global rackspace

Yeah… A lot depends on your use case. In a church service, I can get by with one Rackspace and I can open another instance which will be assigned to a different interface but my friend is correct here. Do your routing in the "Global Rackspace and you can control everything simply in your live performances.

…thanks, I‘ll try it today😉

In addition, using Rig Manager is good practice for setting up MIDI controllers. Similar reasoning. If you change your MIDI gear, you can potentially make the changes to the setup just the one time. And by saving the Rigs, you can go back to the previous controllers with just a few clicks.

It can seem out of order, like learning an obscure feature when you just want to start making music, but it’s good to do before you add multiple rackspaces.
