For midi learn, temporarily disable many scripts/scriptlets or gp port while midi learn

previously reported, answer isn’t working.

I have an “everything” rackspace with a ton of scripts, scriptlets. (around 40 items, 40 buttons on the gui)

when I try to midi learn a new controller (currently doesn’t have alias) the scriplet fires and causes GP Port to be the last item.

in midi for a panel, i no longer see edit to the right (more detail at bottom)

how can I temporarily disable gp port or scripting?

also: in midi learn, the edit button is no longer appearing. this happened after I tried to have a second instance. I also added a lot of aliases, learned them, but they aren’t connected yet.

How exactly are you doing this?

i was trying to click the widget, learn, press the controller button. scripts in the background are turning things on and off. in learn mode it keeps reacting to gp port after clicking the controller button.

note: finally realized the edit button change to a little triangle-ish icon that was very small on my screen.
set up aliases for everything and assigned the widget mide to the alias.

hopefully never have to connect directly again; the alias won’t suffer from the widget issue.
