Feature Request - Set Rackspace Key in Rackspace Properties

Song Properties allow setting Key and Transpose. Could that be a property of Rack Spaces as well and if in Setlist mode, the setting would override the Rackspace setting.

Use case: Often times I play in bands that for one reason or another won’t commit to a song list order and like calling songs on the fly, so I’m usually forced to just run in Panel View vs Setlist View. I use remote control using TouchOSC and I can look at the interface and see the key of the song if in Setlist View but in Panel view, I have to add a text label with the key and send the info out via OSC to get around this.If it was a property of a rack I could just intercept the OSC path for that property of th rack.

I don’t follow as to why you still can’t use Setlist view? The ‘All Songs’ setlist gives you access to everything, and selectable via Touch OSC if you’re displaying the song list.

I could do that. Not a huge deal. This was just a suggestion since tempo override is in rack spaces. It just seems to me tempo and key override would apply to similar use cases, but maybe not?

Yeah, that’s probably legacy from before we had setlist support.

That makes sense. No biggie. I’ll adjust my workflow to do that instead.
