Error trying to measure audio interface latency

I read the error message but evidently I am baffled as to what I am supposed to do.
Maybe if I saw a screenshot of the suggested connection I would “get” what to do.

You need to physically connect any one of the outputs on your audio interface to the first input on the interface.

For example, if you have a 2 in, 4 out interface with 1/4" ins and outs, you need to connect a 1/4" audio cable from any output to input number 1. That’s usually all it takes.

If it’s still not working, it’s because either the output volume or the input gain is set so low that the input jack isn’t picking up anything on the output. In that case you need to adjust either the output volume or input gain on your interface, possibly both.

I changed the title of this topic. When I first saw the title, I thought the issue was concerning a wrong value for the latency rather than a problem getting it to work😀
