OK - another noobie question. Is it possible to link rotary encoders to a widget knob/slider?

It’s great to have visual feedback, moving faders, touch strips, LED rings, I have tried them all with great success, bi-directional MIDI control; depending on device uses MIDI Control Change Messages, Pitch Bend, Notes.
I am using a Novation SL61 mkII keyboard but have not figured out how to link the endless controllers to a widget parameter unless I switch the controller to send out CC messages rather than relative values. Is there a user guide somewhere covering this?

David is replying there so your input would be welcome. We need to know what is your controller exactly sending when you move your controller let/right with varying speeds.
