Getting back into GP after a few years away and just upgraded to v5. I have Cherry Audio Dreamsynth placed in a global rackspace and it works fine. I can open and close the plugin but if I right-click on it in the wiring diagram to do any of the functions like bypass or quick replace, I get the spinning color wheel for a minute and 25 seconds and then the menu finally appears. This happens with the same gig file on 2 different computers - Mac Studio and MacBook Air - both M2 running MacOS 15.5 and GP 5.1.1. I loaded some other Cherry Audio synths and so far the ones I’ve tried do not experience this issue. Is this best mentioned here or at Cherry Audio?
What version of the plugin are you using?
AU or VST or VST3?
AU. But based on your question, I went ahead and removed it and considered it as a VST and then as a VST3 and they both did not exhibit the behavior. Good to know! Thanks!
You should contact cherry audio and tell them about the issue.

I opened a “conversation” with them on this topic.

From Cherry Audio support:
This is an existing issue and relates to the AU versions scanning all the presets, which there are a lot of. Not sure if the fix is on our side or Gig Performer’s, but I’ll update the thread on this to notify the developers.
