Blue3 new update

Hey everyone,

This is just a quick note to say that Blue3 has been updated to 2.4.0 and Spin to 1.3.0.

Here are the updates:

  • Minor touchup to the rotary speaker simulation
  • Added native support for Apple Silicon processors
  • Added support for macOS 11.x Big Sur
  • Added a fix where a Windows update could unregister Blue3 & Spin
  • Fixed an issue where the pedal mode was not saved in Blue3
  • Removed 32-bit AAX plugin for Windows

…looking forward to hear the different sound of the Leslie. :sunglasses:

Listen to the fast speed

At first sight it is a real step forward.

The sound when the Leslie decelerates from fast to slow is excellent in my opinion.

Blue3 works very good with its own Leslie, with the IK-Multimedia-Leslie (Amplitude-Version) I have no good results so far.

Strange, I would expect that is should sound good with the ik Leslie,

It’s try and error, so far I used only presets. The direct out of the Blue3 is in my opinion no real direct out. Next problem: overdrive, shall I use the overdrive of Blue3 or of the Amplitude Leslie? Same question with expression and volume. If I use IK-Leslie I loose that nice distorted tone I hear with Blue3 in slow mode and the nice deceleration from fast to slow.

You have to decide
